PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE AND ART SHOW - APRIL 2009

Every April the Preschool holds a special Open House for parents to come and view our facility for the first time or for our current parents to come and see what your children have been up to. Last year the Preschool included an Art Show in the event which displays one piece of art work from each child in the preschool. The Art was beautiful and our lobby looked great!

We would like to do this again this year. And in so doing, we would like to begin to ask the children if we can borrow their pictures for the art show. If your child creates something at home that they would like to display - that would be welcome as well.

Pictures can be colored, painted, glued, drawn, cut out and can be made from a variety of materials. The walls of the Preschool will be the gallery so the work submitted must be "hangable".

This year Nancy would like one volunteer from each classroom to oversee the mounting and framing of their classes' art work. If you have volunteer hours that need to be completed or if you have a bit of spare time to donate, it will be very much appreciated. If you know of anyone that does art framing and who might have scraps of matting to donate, please let Nancy know.
