Parent Information

PARENT OF THE DAY
The preschool's license requires two adults to be present in the classroom during operation, one teacher and one parent volunteer. All parents must take their turn in assisting the teachers. A monthly calendar is posted outside the classrooms for signing up for Parent of the Day. Without a parent helper, the class will have to be cancelled! If you are a working parent, it is your responsibility to find someone to take your place (i.e. aunt, grandparent or friend,etc.) If you are signed up for the day and unable to make it, it is up to you to find a replacement.

Your child LOVES   to have you in the classroom! Your presence sends a strong message about your interest and involvement in their education right from the start. As Parent of the Day, you obtain a good sense of what is happening in the classroom, providing lots of opportunities for discussions as a follow-up to your child's day.

Please see the following rotation schedule to assist you in planning your involvement as Parent of the Day:  

Nataliya's 3 year old AM:   Once every 5 weeks
Carmen's 3 year old AM:   Once every 5 weeks
Nataliya's 3 year old PM:   Once every 4 weeks
Nataliya's 4 year old AM:   Once every 4 weeks
Carmen's 4 year old AM:   Once every 4 weeks
Nataliya's 4 year old PM:   Once every 3 weeks
