Volunteering

There are two types of volunteering parents are required to do. The first is being parent of the day in the classroom about once a month (the rotation depends on class size). The law requires that we have two adults in each class. Plus the kids love having their parent in class with them!

The second volunteer commitment is participating in special events or fundraisers. We ask a four-hour commitment per child over the course of the year. Parents are required to provide a $200 post-dated cheque on payment night, which is cashed in April if their four volunteer hours have not been completed.
